"Right, well, living space," she says, gesturing to the living room behind Steve, even though he's got his arm around her and isn't actually looking at the room itself. "And you saw the empty kitchen over there near the front entrance. Rue's bedroom is down that hall, next to the bathroom."

She steps back, away from Steve, but not quite enough to dislodge his arm.

"Mine's this way, down this hall. It's not a very big place, but it's mine. Well, ours."
