"Come on," says Gideon, turning away and padding down the hallway in her bare feet.  The kitchen no longer looks like a place where brain surgery happened; Gideon has swept away all of Harrow's shorn hair and cleaned her vomit from the sink.  She's not long made a pot of tea and she grabs another mug for Maeve.  "It's all so fucked up," she says.
