It's really pretty and Maeve, who insists she hates traditionally romantic gestures, who often feels awkward and uncomfortable when faced with it, doesn't feel that at all. Not with Steve. She laughs as he pulls her into the dance and while she has no idea how to properly waltz and has a feeling he doesn't either, it's still a lot of fun.

And the lights change under their feet, from yellow to blue to green to purple, and she watches the way they throw different coloured shadows across Steve's face as they move.

"I love you," she says, the words coming out, taking her off guard with their honesty.
