"That's okay," Maeve says and she genuinely means it. There's no way she would ever expect Steve not to be sad, especially since it's something he obviously wants, even if he didn't realize how much.

"I'm sad, too," she admits. "I... I don't want you to not have something you want for your life because it isn't something I want."
